Share
The next chapter of the Riftbound: League of Legends Trading Card Game is on the horizon. Radiance, the fifth set in the game, is set to bring new Legends, new products, a brand new Ultimate Rare, and plenty more for players and collectors to get excited about.
With the release scheduled for 23rd October 2026, here is everything we know so far about Riftbound: Radiance.
When Does Riftbound: Radiance Release?
Riftbound: Radiance is scheduled for worldwide release on 23rd October 2026.
Before the full release, players can expect previews to begin from 25th September through to 9th October, giving fans their first proper look at the cards and strategies coming in the new set. Pre Rift events are then scheduled to take place from 16th to 22nd October, allowing players to experience Radiance ahead of its official launch.
How Many Cards Are in Radiance?
Radiance will feature 180 cards, including 66 Showcase cards.
The set abbreviation is RAD, and with a large number of Showcase cards included, there should be plenty for collectors to chase alongside the new cards arriving for competitive play.
Perhaps the biggest mystery surrounding the set so far is its new Ultimate Rare. Radiance has been confirmed to include an Ultimate Rare card, but the card itself has not yet been revealed.
Which Legends Are Coming to Radiance?
Nine Legends are expected to feature in Radiance, with several already confirmed.
The Legends revealed so far are:
• Seraphine
• Evelynn
• Ekko
• Ziggs
• Jarvan IV
That leaves four more Legends still to be announced!
Of the confirmed characters, Seraphine and Evelynn are particularly significant as they will feature in a brand new Showdown Deck product, giving new and existing players two ready to play decks straight out of the box.
Some domain information has also been revealed. Seraphine is associated with Blue and Yellow, while Evelynn is associated with Orange and Purple. Ekko has also been confirmed to be Blue, with further details about his final combination still generating plenty of discussion amongst the community.
Seraphine vs Evelynn Showdown Decks
One of the most exciting products announced for Radiance is the Seraphine vs Evelynn Showdown Decks.
Designed as an accessible way to jump into Riftbound, the box includes everything two players need to get started:
• Two 56 card preconstructed Champion decks
• Two booster packs
• Two playmats
• One rulebook
This makes the Showdown Decks an interesting option for newer players looking to learn the game, as well as fans of Seraphine and Evelynn who want to add both characters to their collection.
Nine Different Pre Rift Decks
Another major change coming with Radiance is the Pre Rift experience.
Pre Rift kits will include different decks representing all nine of the new Legends in the set. This should add more variety to pre release events and give players the opportunity to experience the new Legends in different ways before the set officially launches.
With four Legends still to be revealed, there is plenty more information to come about exactly what players can expect from these decks.
What We Know About Seraphine
Seraphine is already shaping up to have an interesting identity in Riftbound.
Her Champion card has been revealed to focus around tokens, becoming stronger based on the number of exhausted tokens in play. This gives us an early indication of how her deck may play and suggests that managing the board and building up a large token presence could be central to her strategy.
As one of the featured Legends in the Seraphine vs Evelynn Showdown Decks, she is likely to be one of the biggest focal points of Radiance.
More Products Coming with Radiance
Alongside booster packs and displays, the Showdown Decks and Pre Rift kits, Radiance is also expected to include a Vault Bundle.
More details on the exact contents of every product are expected as we get closer to release, so there is still plenty to discover about what Riftbound: Radiance will have to offer.
A New Ultimate Rare to Chase
Collectors will definitely want to keep an eye on Radiance thanks to the confirmation of a new Ultimate Rare.
The card has not yet been revealed, meaning there is still plenty of anticipation around which character or card will receive this premium treatment. As more Radiance cards are previewed, this is likely to become one of the biggest talking points surrounding the set.
What Else Could Be Coming?
While only the officially revealed information can be confirmed, Radiance's theme has already sparked plenty of speculation within the Riftbound community.
With characters such as Seraphine and Evelynn joining the game, and the set's Radiance theme suggesting music, light, colour and spectacle, fans have been discussing the possibility of some particularly eye catching card treatments and alternative artwork.
It is important to remember that these details remain speculation until officially confirmed, but with four Legends still to be revealed and the full card list yet to be shown, there are still plenty of surprises left for Riot Games to unveil.
